Better Late Than Never for Baby J’s Amazing Journey!

Hi, good afternoon Mosie Baby team! I know I’m suppppeeerrr late on sharing my story. But check this out.

Last year August (‘19) we purchased a kit from Mosie Baby, and we tried inseminating a week later. We had purchased a box of ovulation tests, and we took an ovulation test on August 17, 2019. it was negative, but we still inseminated. And then September came, and I didn't get my period when I was supposed to get it on September 1. Then suddenly we took an ovulation test September 22, and it came out positive. The crazy thing that I thank god everyday for is that our sperm donor DONATED his sperm to us!! So we texted the donor, but he wasn’t off until 2 A.M. the next day. So we waited until he did his business, and then we did ours. It’s gonna sound crazy to some people who don’t believe in GOD, we both prayed while inseminating the sperm into myself. And we played baby music. And the following month October 3rd my wife randomly told me, “you should take a pregnancy test” and I replied with a hesitation “okay”. I was so scared to see a negative. We took the test October 3, 2019 at 7:43PM. When I saw the positive sign on the stick I was sooo shaken, I couldn’t believe it myself. Then at 8:44 P.M. I checked again, I even went to the store. And then I scheduled a clinic appointment, and they told me negative.  I was in denial because I had taken 2 tests the day before, so I told him (wife/husband) he’s in transition that they told me it was negative. Then that same day I went to the store and bought a pack of 3 tests and another single one and they all came back positive! I scheduled an appointment to my primary doctor, and she confirmed my pregnancy. And today we have a healthy 5- month-old baby 😊!

If being super late means we get to e-meet Baby “J”...it’s all good. What a cutie!😍We’re so proud of you both for navigating ovulation, conception, known donors and transition all at once...not to mention mixed up clinical results! Talk about an industrious family.
